Here's a monoprint I made in a previous mixed media class with Jane LaFazio. The background was printed on gelatin, then I added the starfish with a rubber mold dipped in paint.
In this detail, you can see the stitches in metalic thread, beads, square sequins, pen outlining and painted dots that I added to the piece. The quilt measures 14" x 10" and is one of my favorites.
