Monoprint

This is the monoprint I made last week.  I used several layers of paint, cut a flower stencil from freezer paper to use as a resist and added texture with bubble wrap and leaves.

I finished the piece yesterday.  It is small, only 10" x 7".  I made a flower stamp from the sticky backed foam board then printed it in teal and purple.  

In this detail, you can see I added hand stitching, beads and a little shading with colored pencil.
