In 2007, my daughter asked me to provide quilts to hang in a coffee shop in Los Angeles. It was the first time I had shared my quilts with anyone other than family and friends. I became a sewing demon, trying to finish at least 15 quilts for public display. Several of them sold, but I learned in the process that I much prefer leisurely sewing with no pressure.
These are the first finished blocks for my scrap quilt. I have been making one block a week - much more enjoyable.
that coffee shop never looked so good!
