Art Class - Week 3

We brought paints, colored pencils and crayons to class this week to start coloring our collages.
What started with odd pieces of paper and cloth painted white with gesso, were transformed into bright works of art.

I painted it with layers and layers of different colored acrylics and used colored pencils for highlights.

My favorite detail is the word bloom, even though I started with paper lettering, it has the look and feel of something that has been outdoors for many years.
