I sent out 10 little house postcards to random participants in the letter exchange.
Using a great tutorial from Annie's freezeframe03.blogspot.com , I made a 6" block from a pattern by Freddy Moran. I stitched the street numbers for each person on the door. These bright little houses sure make me smile!
These are soooo cute! Doris

ReplyDeleteThese fabulous quilted houses are ADORABLE! They are mail art treasures for some lucky participants to find in their mail this month. I love that you went outside the postcard box on the shape. Stitching in each person's house number...awesome idea! That check binding is a perfect finish. LOVE these!
ReplyDeleteGuess my previous comment didn't show up....but I love these little houses!! I'm sure your special "friends" will too!!
