Last May 8th was the final session in Jane LaFazio's watercolor journal class. We started making stamps and I finally got around to finishing mine this weekend. Using sticky backed foam, I made a 6" stamp of my village in the round quilt. It is adhered to a sheet of heavy plastic.
Using something sharp (I used the tip of a seam ripper), you can add details on the foam.
How cool is that!! What a fun, easy project.
Jane starts a new class in July, two 6 hour days - and I will be there!
Oh, Ellen! How interesting! And you really picked a great design to make a really fun stamp.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I've never made a stamp like that. I'll have to get some sticky back foam and try it out :)
