Since my trusty old sewing machine is out being repaired, I have been working on other projects that don't require sewing. Yesterday, using a piece of sticky-backed canvas, I finally created a cover for my art journal. I painted it with acrylics, added texture with bubble wrap and cardboard, collaged with tissue paper then finished it by using Smooch Spritz to give it a gold glimmer.
This bee was on a paper napkin, a great collage source. If you look closely you can see the gold spritz.

ReplyDeleteOh, and one other thing...a HUGE bumble bee chased me out of my backyard about 20 minutes ago--I just had to laugh when I opened my laptop and read your post! Same wavelength for sure!!
