Our journey this week took place on Saturday. ArtWalk weekend is held on the streets of the Little Italy district of San Diego. There are over 300 artist booths, bands, food and crowds of people.
We wandered up and down the streets, enjoying the colors, sounds and aromas coming from the booths.
This neighborhood usually hosts a farmer's market every Saturday and some of the market venders were set up on one of the streets.
We ended our visit by sharing a carne asada nacho at The Indigo Grill. Another great day!
Looks like a fun day!
ReplyDeleteI used to go to the Carlsbad arts festival - the one they have every spring and fall. It was always crazy crowded but fun. Ever been to that one?
that carne asada takes my breath away! oh, yea, and artwalk looks fun too.
ReplyDeleteI want those nachos! did you share a margarita too?
