I signed up to participate in another swap through 15 minutes play. This time, everyone created the same 12" lily quilt using made fabric.
My partner is Miki from mikisquilts.blogspot.com I mailed her quilt not realizing she was out of town so her husband took a photo and sent it to her. She will have to wait until Monday to see it in person.
It was a really fun pattern and I added a lot of hand stitching. The borders are finished using a blanket stitch with beads.
Happy Spring Miki!
Great job, Ellen!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I like the hint of a sun in the top right hand corner - not sure if thats what you intended but it is what came to mind for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you, yes that is a little sunshine in the corner. I even stitched a sun but it doesn't show up in the photo.
DeleteSo enjoy your sharing your multiple talents-love "made" fabrics.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!
ReplyDeleteNice work, so pretty--love the fabrics Ellen, especially the stem and leaves of the yellow flower.
