Early Fall Garden

Mums
Coleus

Petunias (don't you love the edge of lime green?)

Black-eyed Susans

Who couldn't resist this happy lime green frog, a new addition to the garden

After doing a Google search, I discovered that this is a Black and Yellow Garden Spider with a dense zigzag of silk in the center of the web.  I think this spider would make a great quilter!

  1. Ellen, is this your actual garden? How delightful! I do love the lime green edge! And the spider! ( never liked a spider before...)

  3. Love those petunias! I've never seen them like that before, much better than plain pink or white.

  4. It looks beautiful and I love the quilting spider.....Charlotte? How come I didn't inherit the green thumb? My back porch is looking brown and sad. At least the avocados are getting bigger! xoxo
