More Minis

My sister needed some small items for gifts and luckily I had these mini wallets already made.  They were mailed off to Texas to be used for bunco prizes - I do love making these little treasures!

Project Life - Week 6

I can't believe it's been 6 weeks since I started this journal.  I'm so glad I have taken the time to photograph our daily life - this project will be a great reminder of the happy times we have spent.

August Break # 15 - 19

Anvils

On her facebook page, Victoria from Bumble Beans, Inc. asked for donated anvil blocks.  She is making a quilt for a cancer patient and I was very happy to help.  She suggested any blue background and bright colors for the center.  I love using scraps and happy colors.  These blocks are off to NYC today.

August 19th

Happy Birthday to my sister Marcia!  I used watercolors to paint her initials for her special day.

August Break # 11 - 14

ConKerr Cancer

My friend Nancy is having a birthday soon.  She has asked for donations of pillowcases for ConKerr Cancer instead of gifts, so I got busy and made these for her.  The pillowcases will go to young cancer patients and hopefully will brighten a child's hospital stay a little.

I have now caught up with the first photos of the month, I love my little camera - its really doing a great job!

The August Break # 1 - 5

Many thanks to Kathy at kjohnsonart.blogspot.com for sharing Susannah Conway's "The August Break" photo prompts for the month.  As usual, I had to play catch up and was able to take the 1st two weeks of photos all in one day at my house.  What was really cool - I figured out how to print on my pictures using Photoshop!!

Project Life Week 4

The last few weeks have been very busy but I have managed to keep up with my weekly photo journal.  This project is very time consuming but I love it!!!

August Calendar

Summer seems to be passing so fast.  Using stencils and scrapbook paper, I created my August calendar with the thought that autumn is just around the corner.

August Block of the Month

The Pinwheel Star is the block paper pattern for August.  There are a lot of different fabrics in this pattern and I like the way the colors give depth to it.

After enjoying a visit from my sister, I'm playing catch up on a lot of projects.
